This paper summarizes the key technologies and characteristics of offshore oil field development in China by continuous exploration and practice in the offshore oil field exploration, development and production of CNOOC. At the same time, according to the current development of foreign development technology, combined with CNOOC's own characteristics, according to the specific needs of offshore oil field development.
