Abstract

Based on the concept of sustainable development, the thoughtway of engineering philosophy is adopted to explore the decision-making problems of giant projects. It is proposed to use new ideas and new ways to solve complex giant projects decision-making, and a model of giant projects decision-making is built, the main contents of which are "Three Core Principles"  of giant projects decision-making, that is, whether the project could last as long as possible, whether the project could make any dramatic change to the development of the society and whether the project could bring any benefit to the public and social development.
