Development of realistic design fire time-temperature curves for the testing of cold-formed steel wall

摘要: Fire resistance rating of light gauge steel frame (LSF) wall systems is obtained from fire tests based on the standard fire time-temperature curve. However, fire severity has increased in modern buildings due to higher fuel loads as a result of modern furniture and light weight constructions that make use of thermoplastics materials, synthetic foams and fabrics. Some of these materials are high in calorific values and increase both the spread of fire growth and heat release rate, thus increasing the fire severity beyond that of the standard fire curve. Further, the standard fire curve does not include a decay phase that is present in natural fires. Despite the increasing usage of LSF walls, their behavior in real building fires is not fully understood. This paper presents the details of a research study aimed at developing realistic design fire curves for use in the fire tests of LSF walls. It includes a review of the characteristics of building fires, previously developed fire time-temperature curves, computer models and available parametric equations. The paper highlights that real building fire time-temperature curves depend on the fuel load representing the combustible building contents, ventilation openings and thermal properties of wall lining materials, and provides suitable values of many required parameters including fuel loads in residential buildings. Finally, realistic design fire time-temperature curves simulating the fire conditions in modern residential buildings are proposed for the testing of LSF walls.

摘要: Blockchain technology is considered one of the promising technologies of the information technology era. The core features of blockchain, such as decentralization, transparency, high security, and tamper-proof nature, bring great convenience for large-scale social cooperation and data sharing. Blockchain has a broad application prospect in the field of intelligent manufacturing. The key issues of this field, such as distributed collaborative production, industrial big data sharing and security, transparent logistics, and supply chain, are naturally consistent with the core characteristics of the blockchain technology. This study aims to analyze the application of blockchain in the field of intelligent manufacturing. First, we introduce the basic connotation and applications of blockchain. Then, we propose the theoretical basis for the application of blockchain in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Finally, we point out the realistic plights and provide some suggestions to promote the application of blockchain in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

Shadow obstacle model for realistic corner-turning behavior in crowd simulation

摘要: This paper describes a novel model known as the shadow obstacle model to generate a realistic corner-turning behavior in crowd simulation. The motivation for this model comes from the observation that people tend to choose a safer route rather than a shorter one when turning a corner. To calculate a safer route, an optimization method is proposed to generate the corner-turning rule that maximizes the viewing range for the agents. By combining psychological and physical forces together, a full crowd simulation framework is established to provide a more realistic crowd simulation. We demonstrate that our model produces a more realistic corner-turning behavior by comparison with real data obtained from the experiments. Finally, we perform parameter analysis to show the believability of our model through a series of experiments.

Research on pedestrian escape route without visibility based on Markov chain model

摘要: It is a pioneering work to use a Markov chain model to study the pedestrian escape route without visibility. In this paper, based on the Markov chain probability transition matrix, the algorithms with random numbers and the spatial-grid, an escape route in a limited invisible space is obtained. Six pace states (standing, crawling, walking, leaping, jogging, and running) are applied to describe the characteristics of pedestrian behaviors. Besides, eight main direction changes are used to describe the transition characteristic of a pedestrian. At the same time, this paper analyzes the escape route from two views, i.e., pedestrian pace states and directions. The research results show that the Markov chain model is more realistic as a means of studying pedestrian escape routes.

Experience gained in analyzing severe accidents for WWER RP using CC SOCRAT

摘要: The current Russian regulatory documents on the safety of nuclear power plant (NPP) specify the requirements regarding design basis accidents (DBAs) and beyond design basis accidents (BDBAs), including severe accidents (SAs) with core meltdown, in NPP design (NP-001-15, NP-082-07, and others). For a rigorous calculational justification of BDBAs and SAs, it is necessary to develop an integral CC that will be in line with the requirements of regulatory documents on verification and certification (RD-03-33-2008, RD-03-34-2000) and will allow for determining the amount of data required to provide information within the scope stipulated by the requirements for the structure of the safety analysis report (SAR) (NP-006-16). The system of codes for realistic analysis of severe accidents (SOCRAT) (formerly, thermohydraulics (RATEG)/coupled physical and chemical processes (SVECHA)/behavior of core materials relocated into the reactor lower plenum (HEFEST)) was developed in Russia to analyze a wide range of SAs at NPP with water-cooled water-moderated power-generating reactor (WWER) at all stages of the accident. Enhancements to the code and broadening of its applicability are continually being pursued by the code developers (Nuclear Safety Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBRAE RAN)) with OKB Gidropress JSC and other organizations. Currently, the SOCRAT/1 code can be used as a base tool to obtain realistic estimates for all parameters important for computational justification of the reactor plant (RP) safety at the in-vessel stage of SAs with fuel melting. To perform analyses using CC SOCRAT/1, the experience gained during execution of thermohydraulic codes is applied, which allows for minimizing the uncertainties in the results at the early stage of an accident scenario. This study presents the results of the work performed in 2010–2020 in OKB Gidropress JSC using the CC SOCRAT/1. Approaches have been considered to develop calculational models and analyze SAs using CC SOCRAT. This process, which is clearly structured in OKB Gidropress JSC, provides a noticeable reduction in human involvement, and reduces the probability of erroneous results.

农业软件产业发展的现实格局与路径选择

摘要:

信息技术与现代农业发展的交叉重组、渗透融合不断加速,逐步孕育出农业软件产业,支撑了智慧农业发展。本文在分析国内外农业软件产业发展战略、概述学术界相关研究的基础上,结合实际调研数据,梳理了我国农业软件产业的发展现状、主要困境,提出了我国农业软件产业发展的战略目标、重大工程及政策保障建议。研究发现,我国农业软件产业在技术研发与推广、企业运行、用户积累等方面与国外存在较大差距,主要存在开发难度大、创新能力弱、投资回报低、知识产权保护弱等困境;面向2035年,应以推动农业技术软件化为主线,以强化农业软件产业创新发展能力为核心,开展农业使能软件与平台开发工程、精准农业管理软件应用推广工程、农业软件产业集聚区创建工程、农业软件企业梯次培育工程等重大工程建设。为此建议,完善政策支持体系建设、强化统筹协调机制、优化学科体系建设、加强人才培养全面保障我国农业产业软件的高质量发展。

TextGen:用于新型存储系统基准测试的真实文本数据集生成方法 Article

摘要: 概要:新型存储系统通过内置数据压缩功能提高性能,并节省存储空间。因此,数据内容会显著影响存储系统基准测试结果。由于真实数据集规模庞大,难以复制到目标测试系统,并且大多数数据集由于隐私性无法进行共享。因此,基准测试程序需要人工生成测试数据集。为了保证测试结果的准确性,需要根据影响存储系统性能的真实数据集特征信息生成数据。现有方法SDGen在字节级别上分析真实数据集内容分布特征,并以此生成数据集,因此能够保证内置字节级压缩算法的存储系统测试结果准确。但是SDGen并未分析真实数据集的词级别内容分布特征,因此不能保证内置词级别压缩算法的存储系统测试结果准确,本文提出了一种基于Lognormal概率分布模型的文本数据集生成方法TextGen。该方法根据真实数据集的词切分结果建立语料库,分析语料库中词的分布特征,利用最大似然估计得到词分布的Lognormal模型参数,根据模型采用蒙特卡洛方法生成数据内容。该方法生成数据集所消耗的时间只与生成数据集规模相关,具有线性的时间复杂度O(n)。本文收集了四种数据集验证方法有效性,并通过一种典型的词级别压缩算法——ETDC(End-Tagged Dense Code)进行测试。实验结果表明:相比SDGen,TextGen生成文本数据集性能更高,并且,生成数据集用于压缩测试后与真实数据集的压缩速率、压缩率相似程度更高。
