Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering   Pages 262-279 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2021383

Abstract: D1 protein turnover and the xanthophyll cycle (XC) are important photoprotective mechanisms in plantsHere, streptomycin sulfate (SM) and dithiothreitol (DTT) were used in tomato plants as inhibitors of D1protein turnover and XC to elucidate their photoprotective impacts under sub-high temperature and highprotein production at both transcriptional and translational levels.Overall, inhibition of D1 turnover caused greater photoinhibition than XC inhibition.

Frontiers of Medicine 2017, Volume 11, Issue 4,   Pages 480-489 doi: 10.1007/s11684-017-0594-8

Abstract: Superinfection is frequently detected among individuals infected by human immunodeficiency virus type I (HIV-1)This observation indicates that the immune responses elicited by natural HIV-1 infection may play a roleThus, a successful HIV-1 vaccine likely needs to induce more potent and broader immune responses thanimmunity induced by primary infection is insufficient and if superinfection can lead to cross-reactive immuneresponses will be highly informative for HIV-1 vaccine design.
