Monocyte subsets and their differentiation tendency after burn injury

Guangqing Wang, Zhaofan Xia

Frontiers of Medicine 2013, Volume 7, Issue 4,   Pages 397-400 doi: 10.1007/s11684-013-0298-7

Abstract:

Monocytes are critical effectors and regulators of immune response. Studying the nomenclature of monocyte subsets may be beneficial for understanding the complex function of monocytes in steady and inflammatory states. A monocyte has the potential to differentiate into dendritic cells or macrophages, and this behavior significantly changes in severely burned patients and mice. The findings in the present study may help enhance understanding on the perturbation of the immune system after severe burn injury.

GID complex regulates the differentiation of neural stem cells by destabilizing TET2

Frontiers of Medicine doi: 10.1007/s11684-023-1007-9

Abstract: Brain development requires a delicate balance between self-renewal and differentiation in neural stemYet, the regulation of TET2 in the process of neuronal differentiation remains unknown. Here, the protein level of TET2 was reduced by the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway during NSC differentiationThe protein levels of GID complex subunits increased reciprocally with TET2 level upon NSC differentiationillustrated that the GID complex negatively regulates TET2 protein stability, further modulates NSC differentiation

Abivertinib inhibits megakaryocyte differentiation and platelet biogenesis

Frontiers of Medicine 2022, Volume 16, Issue 3,   Pages 416-428 doi: 10.1007/s11684-021-0838-5

Abstract: in the progression of megakaryopoiesis, we speculate that abivertinib can affect megakaryocyte (MK) differentiationwith abivertinib and observed megakaryopoiesis to determine the biological effect of abivertinib on MK differentiationimpaired the CFU-MK formation, proliferation of CD34+ HSC-derived MK progenitor cells, and differentiationand functions of MKs and inhibited Meg-01-derived MK differentiation. Thus, these preclinical data collectively suggested that abivertinib could inhibit MK differentiation

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2016, Volume 3, Issue 4,   Pages 357-362 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2016125

Abstract: Although jasmonates have been demonstrated to be crucial in the regulation of secondary laticifer differentiation, the mechanism for the jasmonate-induced secondary laticifer differentiation remains to be elucidatedthat trichostatin A (TSA), an inhibitor of histone deacetylation, could induce the secondary laticifer differentiationThe results suggest that histone acetylation is essential for the secondary laticifer differentiation

coupling relationship of industrial agglomeration and low-carbon economy considering spatiotemporal differentiation

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2023, Volume 10, Issue 2,   Pages 285-299 doi: 10.1007/s42524-022-0197-1

Abstract: Although China’s construction machinery thrives to meet the needs of construction, a number of challenges still remain to be overcome, such as lack of thorough knowledge of regional disparities and several limitations in terms of carbon emissions and economic development. Meanwhile, a low-carbon economy was proposed and implemented in China. This research aims to investigate the differences in industrial agglomeration of construction machineries and further explore the relationship between industrial agglomeration and low-carbon economy. On this basis, spatiotemporal analysis was performed to evaluate the levels of industrial agglomeration in different regions based on the situations of China’s construction machinery industry. Furthermore, this study explored the interaction between industrial agglomeration and low-carbon economy utilizing the coupling coordination analysis method. Results showed that the coupling coordination of the two subsystems was extremely unbalanced in 2006, and it maintained an increasing trend, reaching a relatively high level in 2018. Finally, suggestions, such as establishing a policy guarantee system and implementing variable policies in different regions, were proposed to provide guidelines for the government decision-making and promote the sustainable development of China’s construction machinery industry.

Cannabidiol prevents depressive-like behaviors through the modulation of neural stem cell differentiation

Frontiers of Medicine 2022, Volume 16, Issue 2,   Pages 227-239 doi: 10.1007/s11684-021-0896-8

Abstract: Chronic stress impairs radial neural stem cell (rNSC) differentiation and adult hippocampal neurogenesisTherefore, investigating the mechanism of neural differentiation and AHN is of great importance for developingHowever, whether CBD can modulate rNSC differentiation and hippocampal neurogenesis is unknown.administration of CBD rescued depressive-like symptoms in CRS mice and prevented rNSCs overactivation and differentiationThese results revealed a previously unknown neural mechanism for neural differentiation and AHN in depression

Syndrome Differentiation for AIDS

Wang Wenkui,Wang Feng,Wang Ling

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 8,   Pages 30-34

Abstract:

According to modern medicine, AIDS is a kind of acute acquired immune deficiency syndrome. This happens to hold an identical view with"essential qi" in traditional Chinese medicine. "Qi" relies on vigour, and vigour is based on the scent and the essence of food. The transformation of the essential substance depends on the performance of zangfu functions. The functional actions of zangfu organs are the foundation of life. For the five zang orans, each has something to dominate and each performs its own functions. They are interdependent with each other and in harmonv with each other. Only when the five zang organs are in vigorous state and in harmony with each other, can the life-force of body be full of vital power and the body be full of "essential qi" . Amid the five zang organs, as long as the functions of liver, spleen and kidney remain in harmony, heart and lung will naturally be in the harmonious state, hence a healthy body and extended life expectancy can be achieved, That is the rule of "keeping relative balance of three internal systems" (or "three-dynamic balancing method" ).
