Qingqing Xu, Xi Wu, Yuyu Xiong, Qinghe Xing, Lin He, Shengying Qin

Frontiers of Medicine 2013, Volume 7, Issue 2,   Pages 180-190 doi: 10.1007/s11684-013-0249-3

Abstract:

Schizophrenia is a widespread mental disease with a prevalence of about 1% in the world populationThere is therefore a need for pharmacogenomic studies into the factors affecting response of schizophreniaWe also discuss the genome-wide pharmacogenomic study of schizophrenia and review the current state of

Qiong YU PhD, Xiang-Fei MENG PhD, Jie-Ping SHI, Ya-Qin YU PhD,

Frontiers of Medicine 2010, Volume 4, Issue 1,   Pages 101-105 doi: 10.1007/s11684-010-0017-6

Abstract: genetic association between the polymorphism of cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2) family genes and schizophreniacPLA2 family genes among 201 pedigrees consisting of fathers, mothers and affected offsprings with schizophreniaHRR and TDT showed that the ten SNPs were not associated with schizophrenia (>0.05).Analysis for haplotype transmission showed that no haplotype system was associated with schizophreniaOur data suggest that many loci in the cPLA2 family genes may be associated with schizophrenia.
