Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 7,   Pages 957-968 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000126

Abstract: is an important and costly task that creates trace links from requirements to different software artifacts. These trace links can help engineers reduce the time and complexity of software maintenance. The (IR) technique has been widely used in . It uses the textual similarity between software artifacts to create links. However, if two artifacts do not share or share only a small number of words, the performance of the IR can be very poor. Some methods have been developed to enhance the IR by considering relations between , but they have been limited to code rather than to other types of . To overcome this limitation, we propose an automatic method that combines the IR method with the between . Specifically, we leverage between rather than just text matching from requirements to . Moreover, the method is not limited to the type of when considering the relations between . We conduct experiments on five public datasets and take account of trace links between requirements and different types of software artifacts. Results show that under the same recall, the precisions on the five datasets improve by 40%, 8%, 20%, 4%, and 6%, respectively, compared with the baseline method. The precision on the five datasets improves by an average of 15.6%, showing that our method outperforms the baseline method when working under the same conditions.

Description and reasoning of integrated topological and directional relation of bodies in 3D space

Liu Xin,Li Chengming and Liu Wenbao

Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 5,   Pages 8-13

Abstract:

To improve the uniqueness location information described by spatial relationship and accuracy of spatial relationship reasoning result, the description model of the integrated topological and directional relations in three-dimensionall(3D) space was developed. The topological directional regions were described by Allen interval pair[(R1,R2,R3)], where R1,R2 and R3 are Allen interval relations between object and reference in X, Y and Z axis projection respectively. According to definition of integrated topological and direction relation, the qualitative reasoning of integrated topological and directional relations were studied. Empirical examples were provided to show the qualitative reasoning process and results of topological direction relationships for some classical cases. Combined tables of the integrated topological and directional relations were obtained when the topological relations were disjoint in 3D space.

EV Response Capability Assessment Considering User Travel Demand and Cyber System Reliability Article

Yanli Liu, Ke Liu, Xu Sun

Engineering 2022, Volume 15, Issue 8,   Pages 186-196 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2021.08.031

Abstract:

With the increasing penetration rate of electric vehicles (EVs), EV demand response holds great significance for promoting the optimal and secure operation of the power system. This paper proposes an EV response capability assessment method that considers EV users' travel demands and the reliability of the cyber systems integrated into both the power grid and the transportation network. A novel framework for an integrated cyber–power–transportation system is proposed for the first time, and a reliability model for the cyber system is provided. A method is further proposed to calculate the state of an EV when it is plugged in, considering the reliability of traffic guidance information and the reliability of the release of such information. The degree of relaxation in the EV charging demand is proposed to reflect the user's travel demand, based on which the EV response capability can be assessed. Extensive test results on a cyber–power–transportation system containing RBTS BUS6 and the Beijing transportation network are conducted to show the efficiency of the proposed method. The impact of cyber reliability on the EV trip and response capability is analyzed.

High-Temperature Target Recognition Based on Spectral Radiation Information

Fan Xueliang,Cheng Xiaofang,Xu Jun

Strategic Study of CAE 2004, Volume 6, Issue 6,   Pages 57-62

Abstract:

Based on the principles of optics and radiometry, the imaging mathematical model is established and the factors of the contrast (signal-noise-ratio) of high-temperature target and the scenery are given. By analyzing not only the differences in spectral properties between objects in the scene, but also the CCD spectral response theoretically, a new method of enhancement of contrast is given. By optimizing the initial image capture stage, using liquid crystal light valve to make a simple modification of the imaging system, the goal of high object recognition is achieved. The experimental results agree with the theoretical predicts.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 2,   Pages 206-219 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601280

Research on 4-adj model for determination of spatial relations in spattio model

Li Chengming

Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 5,   Pages 37-41

Abstract:

The concept of spattio model is proposed firstly in this paper. Furthermore, it points out that the graphic system based on spattio model will degenerate into a simple geodatabase if it doesn't have the ability to dynamically generate spatial relations. At last, the paper proposes the new method called four-adjacent mathematical model (4-adj model) based on Voronoi diagram to dynamically infer the spatial relations in spattio model, and gives the only complete inference rules, together with the advantage and disadvantage.

Cohort-based personalized query auto-completion Regular Papers-Research Articles

Dan-yang JIANG, Hong-hui CHEN

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2019, Volume 20, Issue 9,   Pages 1246-1258 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800010

Abstract: Query auto-completion (QAC) facilitates query formulation by predicting completions for given query prefix inputs. Most web search engines use behavioral signals to customize query completion lists for users. To be effective, such personalized QAC models rely on the access to sufficient context about each user’s interest and intentions. Hence, they often suffer from data sparseness problems. For this reason, we propose the construction and application of cohorts to address context sparsity and to enhance QAC personalization. We build an individual’s interest profile by learning his/her topic preferences through topic models and then aggregate users who share similar profiles. As conventional topic models are unable to automatically learn cohorts, we propose two cohort topic models that handle topic modeling and cohort discovery in the same framework. We present four cohortbased personalized QAC models that employ four different cohort discovery strategies. Our proposals use cohorts’ contextual information together with query frequency to rank completions. We perform extensive experiments on the publicly available AOL query log and compare the ranking effectiveness with that of models that discard cohort contexts. Experimental results suggest that our cohort-based personalized QAC models can solve the sparseness problem and yield significant relevance improvement over competitive baselines.

Efficient keyword search over graph-structured data based on minimal covered Article

Asieh GHANBARPOUR, Khashayar NIKNAFS, Hassan NADERI

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 3,   Pages 448-464 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800133

Abstract: Keyword search is an alternative for structured languages in querying graph-structured data. A result to a keyword query is a connected structure covering all or part of the queried keywords. The textual coverage and structural compactness have been known as the two main properties of a relevant result to a keyword query. Many previous works examined these properties after retrieving all of the candidate results using a ranking function in a comparative manner. However, this needs a time-consuming search process, which is not appropriate for an interactive system in which the user expects results in the least possible time. This problem has been addressed in recent works by confining the shape of results to examine their coverage and compactness during the search. However, these methods still suffer from the existence of redundant nodes in the retrieved results. In this paper, we introduce the semantic of minimal covered r-clique (MCCr) for the results of a keyword query as an extended model of existing definitions. We propose some efficient algorithms to detect the MCCrs of a given query. These algorithms can retrieve a comprehensive set of non-duplicate MCCrs in response to a keyword query. In addition, these algorithms can be executed in a distributive manner, which makes them outstanding in the field of keyword search. We also propose the approximate versions of these algorithms to retrieve the top-k approximate MCCrs in a polynomial delay. It is proved that the approximate algorithms can retrieve results in two-approximation. Extensive experiments on two real-world datasets confirm the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Mutual-information basedweighted fusion for target tracking in underwater wireless sensor networks None

Duo ZHANG, Mei-qin LIU, Sen-lin ZHANG, Zhen FAN, Qun-fei ZHANG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2018, Volume 19, Issue 4,   Pages 544-556 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601695

Abstract: Underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) can provide a promising solution to underwater target tracking. Due to limited energy and bandwidth resources, only a small number of nodes are selected to track a target at each interval. Because all measurements are fused together to provide information in a fusion center, fusion weights of all selected nodes may affect the performance of target tracking. As far as we know, almost all existing tracking schemes neglect this problem. We study a weighted fusion scheme for target tracking in UWSNs. First, because the mutual information (MI) between a node’s measurement and the target state can quantify target information provided by the node, it is calculated to determine proper fusion weights. Second, we design a novel multi-sensor weighted particle filter (MSWPF) using fusion weights determined by MI. Third, we present a local node selection scheme based on posterior Cramer-Rao lower bound (PCRLB) to improve tracking efficiency. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify the performance improvement of our scheme with proper fusion weights.

SRIM Scheme: An Impression-Management Scheme for Privacy-Aware Photo-Sharing Users Article

Fenghua Li, Zhe Sun, Ben Niu, Yunchuan Guo, Ziwen Liu

Engineering 2018, Volume 4, Issue 1,   Pages 85-93 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2018.02.003

Abstract:

With the development of online social networks (OSNs) and modern smartphones, sharing photos with friends has become one of the most popular social activities. Since people usually prefer to give others a positive impression, impression management during photo sharing is becoming increasingly important. However, most of the existing privacy-aware solutions have two main drawbacks: ① Users must decide manually whether to share each photo with others or not, in order to build the desired impression; and ② users run a high risk of leaking sensitive relational information in group photos during photo sharing, such as their position as part of a couple, or their sexual identity. In this paper, we propose a social relation impression-management (SRIM) scheme to protect relational privacy and to automatically recommend an appropriate photo-sharing policy to users. To be more specific, we have designed a lightweight face-distance measurement that calculates the distances between users’ faces within group photos by relying on photo metadata and face-detection results. These distances are then transformed into relations using proxemics. Furthermore, we propose a relation impression evaluation algorithm to evaluate and manage relational impressions. We developed a prototype and employed 21 volunteers to verify the functionalities of the SRIM scheme. The evaluation results show the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed scheme.

Li Deren , Shen Xin

Strategic Study of CAE 2020, Volume 22, Issue 2,   Pages 138-143 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2020.02.017

Abstract:

Real-time and intelligent space-based information service system is a next-generation space-based system that integrates satellite communications, satellite navigation, and satellite remote sensing. It delivers space-based information to civil and military users as required in real time, relying on multi-load integration, multi-satellite collaboration, and interconnection between space and ground networks. This paper first analyzes the strategic requirements for real-time and intelligent space-based information services, then reviews the development status of satellite communications, satellite navigation, and satellite remote sensing in China and abroad, and summarizes the existing problems. Moreover, it expounds the basic concept, objectives, and technical architecture of the real-time and intelligent space-based information service system, and analyzes the relationship between this system and the existing (or planned) space-based information system, thus demonstrating its feasibility for construction. The real-time intelligent space-based information service system can be established through three steps and developed first locally, then regionally, and finally globally. This system should be incorporated into the overall planning for national science and technology development, and be constructed and shared mutually by civil and military parties. During the construction of this system, communicating and integration with existing and planned communications, navigation, and remote sensing satellites as well as with the ground communication systems should be strengthened.

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 7,   Pages 47-53

Abstract:

In this paper, incomplete fuzzy information system is studied. In order to deal with it by rough set theory, fuzzy compatible relation and fuzzy rough approximation are defined by logic function. Furthermore, fuzzy covering on universe is proposed, three different operations on the coverings are formed and then some significant results are gained. Besides, with the two new definitions of fuzzy rough entropies, uncertain factors could be effectively measured, some important relationships between the varieties of uncertain factors and the strength of those entropies are discussed carefully. Finally, knowledge dependency in rough set theory is transformed to fuzzy knowledge dependency in the incomplete fuzzy information system. A new method for measuring the strength of partial fuzzy knowledge dependency is proposed. Some immediate theorems are proved.
