Optimal two-impulse space interception with multiple constraints Research Articles

Li Xie, Yi-qun Zhang, Jun-yan Xu,lixie@ncepu.edu.cn,yiqunzhang@hotmail.com,junyan_Xu@sina.cn

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 7,   Pages 963-1118 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800763

Abstract: We consider optimal two-impulse with . The are imposed on the terminal position of a space interceptor, impulse and impact instants, and the component-wise magnitudes of velocity impulses. These optimization problems are formulated as and solved by the calculus of variations. Slackness variable methods are used to convert all inequality constraints into equality constraints so that the Lagrange multiplier method can be used. A new is presented. As a result, an indirect optimization method is developed. Subsequently, our method is used to solve the two-impulse of free-flight ballistic missiles. A number of conclusions for have been drawn based on highly accurate numerical solutions. Specifically, by numerical examples, we show that when time and velocity impulse constraints are imposed, optimal two-impulse solutions may occur; if two-impulse instants are free, then a two-impulse space interception problem with velocity impulse constraints may degenerate to a one-impulse case.

Abstract: To support the ubiquitous connectivity requirement of sixth generation communication, s (UAVs) play a key role as a major part of the future communication networks. One major issue in UAV communications is the interference resulting from spectrum sharing and line-of-sight links. Recently, the application of the technology has been proposed to reduce the interference in the UAV-terrestrial heterogeneous network (HetNet). In this paper, we consider a three-dimensional (3D) multilayer UAV-terrestrial HetNet, where the aerial base stations (ABSs) are deployed at multiple different altitudes. Using stochastic geometry, we develop a tractable mathematical framework to characterize the aggregate interference and evaluate the coverage probability of this HetNet. Our numerical results show that the implementation of the CoMP scheme can effectively reduce the interference in the network, especially when the density of base stations is relatively large. Furthermore, the system parameters of the ABSs deployed at higher altitudes dominantly influence the of the considered 3D HetNet.

Study on Intensifying Measures of Constructed Wetlands

Yan Lu,Wang Shihe,Zhong Qiushuang,Huang Juan

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 10,   Pages 88-90

Abstract:

The constructed wetland is an ecological sewage treatment with good purification effects and low construction and operation costs.  However,  the oxygen condition in constructed wetlands is of particularity and affects purification efficiency of wetlands.  For the lack of systematical study on oxygen condition of wetlands,  the further development of wetlands is restricted to some extent.  In this paper,  the intensifying measures of oxygen condition in horizontal flow wetlands were studied,  the optimal operation condition of them were determined.  Operation in series,  aerifying and multi-inflow and circmfluence were studied by experiments.  The results show that operation in series improved oxygen condition unconspicuously.  Oxygen concentration in aeration wetlands and multi-inflow wetlands were improved.  The optimal gas-flow ratio was 4~5.  And the assigned ratio of inflow was 1∶2∶1.  The results of research demonstrate that circumfluence makes purifying effect of constructed wetlands improved obviously.  Removal efficiency of various pollutants increases quickly.

Influence Factors for Distribution of Smoke Concentration in Small-scale Experiment

Huang Rui,Yang Lizhong,Feng Wenxing,Fang Tingyong,Fan Weicheng

Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 8,   Pages 54-58

Abstract:

Through using Lagrange interpolation to analyze the limited data of smoke components and concentration attained from the small-scale experiments, it shows the distribution of smoke concentration at same time from different positions and the distribution of smoke concentration field according to time. Considering the random factors existing in these combustion experiments, concentration relative value is provided to contrast data among different experiments. The result shows that distribution of smoke concentration along hallway is mainly affected by mass of fuel and height of the door.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 6,   Pages 891-901 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000099

Abstract: (BSC) can guarantee the blindness and untrackability of signcrypted messages, and moreover, it provides simultaneous unforgeability and confidentiality. Most traditional BSC schemes are based on the number theory. However, with the rapid development of quantum computing, traditional BSC systems are faced with severe security threats. As promising candidate cryptosystems with the ability to resist attacks from quantum computing, s have attracted increasing attention in academic fields. In this paper, a post-quantum scheme from lattice (PQ-LBSCS) is devised by applying BSC to s. PQ-LBSCS inherits the advantages of the and technique. PQ-LBSCS is provably secure under the hard assumptions of the learning with error problem and small integer solution problem in the standard model. Simulations are carried out using the Matlab tool to analyze the computational efficiency, and the simulation results show that PQ-LBSCS is more efficient than previous schemes. PQ-LBSCS has extensive application prospects in e-commerce, mobile communication, and smart cards.

Achievements, Problems and Prospects in China´s Water Conservancy Construction

Pan Jiazheng

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 2,   Pages 42-51

Abstract:

In the first part of the paper, main achievements and progress in water conservancy construction of China over the past half century are briefly summarised in respect of flood-control, irrigation, water supply and hydroenergy utilization, which are also reflected in sci-tech, education and management. In the second part, while affirming the achievements, the problems and shortcomings are analyzed. They mainly include: the flood-control standard is still at low level and reliable and complete water-control systems have not been established; water level of floods are increasingly raising causing the increase of flood prevention burden and risks; overexploiting of water resources and serious waste of water; water contamination and water environment deterioration ;the incompleteness, low quality, extensive management and low economic results of water conservancy projects, and so on. The paper holds that these problems should be attributed to the one-sided ideology and improper policies. Finally, in line with the requirement of the development and rejuvenation of China, the paper forecasts the tasks and goals of water conservancy construction in the days to come.

Airline Disruption Management: A Review of Models and Solution Methods Review

Yi Su, Kexin Xie, Hongjian Wang, Zhe Liang, Wanpracha Art Chaovalitwongse, Panos M. Pardalos

Engineering 2021, Volume 7, Issue 4,   Pages 435-447 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2020.08.021

Abstract:

The normal operation of aircraft and flights can be affected by various unpredictable factors, such as severe weather, airport closure, and corrective maintenance, leading to disruption of the planned schedule. When a disruption occurs, the airline operation control center performs various operations to reassign resources (e.g., flights, aircraft, and crews) and redistribute passengers to restore the schedule while minimizing costs. We introduce different sources of disruption and corresponding operations. Then, basic models and recently proposed extensions for aircraft recovery, crew recovery, and integrated recovery are reviewed, with the aim of providing models and methods for different disruption scenarios in the practical implementation of airlines. In addition, we provide suggestions for future research directions in these topics.

The Status and Problems in Developing Private Use Car for China

Guo Konghui

Strategic Study of CAE 2000, Volume 2, Issue 8,   Pages 25-30

Abstract:

Should China develop its private use car? What kind of passenger car should China develop? Should China develop its own passenger car industry? What is the way out for China´s passenger car industry? And how to develop Chinese passenger car industry? These questions are intensively concerned by more and more people, and lead to much discussion recently. In this paper, the author intends to give an analysis on some representative viewpoints that proposed recently, and also his own opinions. It is convinced that the way to solve the“auto disaster”problems is not to put more restrains on the use of private car, but to promote the applications of high-tech to automobiles, mean-while to strengthen city planning and traffic management.

The author confirms that the“technology import and joint venture”has had a positive impact on the progress of the manufacturing technology and management efficiency of Chinese auto industry, however there is also a negative effect on the self-development ability. It is proposed that the general strategy for Chinese auto industry will be“Self-Strengthening + International cooperation”which consists of the following strategies: high-tech strategy, twin-win with self-reliance strategy, internal union for self-strengthen strategy, self-own production right strategy, leap over development strategy.
