Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 4,   Pages 527-547 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000444

Abstract: In recent years, the conventional degrees of freedom in frequency and time have been fully used. It is difficult to further improve the performance of communication systems with such degrees of freedom. , which provides a new degree of freedom for millimeter-wave (mmWave) wireless communication systems, has been recognized as a key enabling technique for future mobile communication networks. By combining OAM beams that have theoretically infinite and mutually orthogonal states with the strategy, a new OAM-GSM mmWave wireless communication system is designed in this paper. A model of the OAM-GSM system is established based on channel flip precoding. The , , and BER of the proposed OAM-GSM mmWave wireless communication system are simulated. Numerical results show that, compared with traditional GSM systems, the OAM-GSM system has more complex transmission and reception mechanisms but the and maximum achievable are increased by 80% and 54%, respectively, and the BER drops by 91.5%.

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 3,   Pages 62-65

Abstract:

A realtime united algorithm for dynamic subbcarrier, bit and power allocation according to the change of channel (UA) is presented in this paper, which can be used into the down-link of multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. With the algorithm the total transmission power is the minimum while the data rate of each user and the required BER performance can be achieved. Comparing to the subcarrier allocation algorithm (WSA) , the simulation results show that the algorithm presented in this paper has better performance while both have equal calculating complexity.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 9,   Pages 938-945 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500436

Abstract: In this paper, spatial channel pairing (SCP) is introduced to coherent combining at the relay in relay networks. Closed-form solution to optimal coherent combining is derived. Given coherent combining, the approximate SCP solution is presented. Finally, an alternating iterative structure is developed. Simulation results and analysis show that, given the symbol error rate and data rate, the proposed alternating iterative structure achieves signal-to-noise ratio gains over existing schemes in maximum ratio combining (MRC) plus matched filter, MRC plus antenna selection, and distributed space-time block coding due to the use of SCP and iterative structure.

Engineering 2022, Volume 17, Issue 10,   Pages 93-98 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2020.11.008

Abstract:

This paper reports on analysis of an experimental study that aimed to determine the apparent gas permeability in cracked concrete. There is a lack of research on this topic in the international literature, due to the difficulty of performing reliable experimental testing for gas permeability. The principal interest of this work is to present new and reliable experimental results. Analytical functions between the evolution of the apparent crack permeability and the apparent crack opening are also proposed. These functions appear to be relevant in consideration of Poiseuille theory.

An efficient prediction framework for multi-parametric yield analysis under parameter variations Article

Xin LI,Jin SUN,Fu XIAO

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 12,   Pages 1344-1359 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601225

Abstract: Due to continuous process scaling, process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) parameter variations have become one of the most problematic issues in circuit design. The resulting correlations among performance metrics lead to a significant para-metric yield loss. Previous algorithms on parametric yield prediction are limited to predicting a single-parametric yield or per-forming balanced optimization for several single-parametric yields. Consequently, these methods fail to predict the multi- parametric yield that optimizes multiple performance metrics simultaneously, which may result in significant accuracy loss. In this paper we suggest an efficient multi-parametric yield prediction framework, in which multiple performance metrics are considered as simultaneous constraint conditions for parametric yield prediction, to maintain the correlations among metrics. First, the framework models the performance metrics in terms of PVT parameter variations by using the adaptive elastic net (AEN) method. Then the parametric yield for a single performance metric can be predicted through the computation of the cumulative distribution function (CDF) based on the multiplication theorem and the Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method. Finally, a copula-based parametric yield prediction procedure has been developed to solve the multi-parametric yield prediction problem, and to generate an accurate yield estimate. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed multi-parametric yield prediction framework is able to provide the designer with either an accurate value for parametric yield under specific performance limits, or a multi-parametric yield surface under all ranges of performance limits.

Effects of Structure of Opening Hole in Gas Distributor on Detained Mass of Material for Fluidized Drying

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 6,   Pages 41-43

Abstract:

The value of detained mass of material is important for researching the dead bed point of fluidized drying. In order to acquire the effect law of structure of opening hole in gas distributor on detained mass of material, the drying processes of detergent suspension liquor were investigated in the inert particle fluidized bed drier. The curves of detained mass of material for drier with vertical-hole distributor and tithed-hole distributor were measured and compared under the same experimental parameters, such as feed volume, diameter of inert particles, gas temperature of entrance, height of static bed, gas rate of entrance, and concentration of material. Based on the result, the relationship data of drier with tilted-hole distributor were determined between the production capacity and the hole ratio of distributor. The results show that the detained mass of material increase with adding the feed volume or concentration of material, and decrease with adding the diameter of inert particles, gas temperature of entrance, height of static bed, or gas rate of entrance. In addition, changing the hole shape of distributor from vertical-hole to tilted-hole and adding the hole ratio of distributor, can help drier reduce the detained mass of material and enhance the production capacity.

Engineering 2022, Volume 17, Issue 10,   Pages 64-74 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2022.03.019

Abstract:

Inspired by the design philosophy of information metasurfaces based on the digital coding concept, a planar 4-bit reconfigurable antenna array with low profile of 0.15 λ0 (where λ0 is the wavelength) is presented. The array is based on a digital coding radiation element consisting of a 1-bit magnetoelectric (ME) dipole and a miniaturized reflection-type phase shifter (RTPS). The proposed 1-bit ME dipole can provide two digital states of “0” and “1” (with 0° and 180° phase responses) over a wide frequency band by individually exciting its two symmetrical feeding ports. The designed RTPS is able to realize a relative phase shift of 173°. By digitally quantizing its phase in the range of 157.5°, additional eight digital states at intervals of 22.5° are obtained. To achieve low sidelobe levels, a 1:16 power divider based on the Taylor line source method is employed to feed the array. A prototype of the proposed 4-bit antenna array has been fabricated and tested, and the experimental results are in good agreement with the simulations. Scanning beams within a ±45° range were measured with a maximum realized gain of 13.4 dBi at 12 GHz. The sidelobe and cross-polarization levels are below –14.3 and –23 dB, respectively. Furthermore, the beam pointing error is within 0.8°, and the 3-dB gain bandwidth of the broadside beam is 25%. Due to its outstanding performance, the array holds potential for significant applications in radar and wireless communication systems.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 3,   Pages 362-372 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601118

Abstract: Acquiring vocabulary is important when studying English, as it assists in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In this paper, we develop an English webpage corpus (EWC) and create a word frequency list using web crawler technology. By comparing EWC word lists with the British National Corpus (BNC), we find that the BNC word frequency list possesses the feature of timeliness. We also explore primary school students’ English word recognition rates by comparing the word frequency lists of several corpora, including EWC, BNC, SUBTLEX-US, and Subtitle Corpus of Children’s BBC (CBBC). The results show that the word recognition rates for primary school children are relatively low in both general language and specific language register. Motivated by the experiment results, we finally propose some word-selection strategies for compiling English textbooks for Chinese primary school students.

Abstract:

In this paper, the numerical experiment is conducted for Schrödinger's equivalent equation with third order derivative for nonlinear variable. The results show that the probability of probability waves is the quasi-regular flow under given condition, and it's a result of comprehensive interactions among intensity of potential field and particle density and torsion (spin) field with the quantum effect. The pure quantum effect is represented only by irregular flow.

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 11,   Pages 17-23

Abstract:

This paper presents a new method for the system identification of channel roughness for the water diversion projects. According to the principle of hydraulics, established the relationship among channel roughness, rough height ks and hydraulic radius R, and deduce the linear model by means of the mathematical transformation to make use of the least square method for the identification. Finally, based on the prototype observation data from the south to north water diversion project and considering the influence of channel section shapes, bottom slopes and lengths etc, a universal formula is obtained for calculation of channel roughness by the system identification.

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 8,   Pages 78-81

Abstract:

To prepare folate-targeted liposomes with high encapsulation efficiency is an effective targeted drug delivery agent for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). The double emulsion method is used to prepare liposomes. The combination of thin film hydration and ultrasonic dispersion method is used to prepare liposomes loaded with HBA,TBA or BBA. The content and the encapsulation efficiency of HBA,TBA or BBA liposomes are evaluated by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). As the basis of the encapsulation efficiency, the optimal conditions for preparing liposomes were explored by the single factor method. The optimal chromatographic conditions of the three drugs were filtered out. They had a good linear relation in a range of 1~100 μg/mL. The encapsulation efficiency of HBA, TBA and BBA liposomes were 25.7 %, 38.9 % and 94.8 % at the optimal preparation and condition. The optimal conditions for preparing BBA liposomes are as follows: the mass ratio of cholesterol and phospholipid is 1∶1, the ratio of drug and lipid is 1∶50 and the optimal pH value is 7.4. The entrapment efficiency for BBA liposomes in the optimal groups reached 94.8 %.The technique of preparing folate-targeted liposomes is feasible and the method of quality control is simple and high accuracy. Theliposomes appeare to be round, and well separated with high entrapment efficiency.

Abstract:

Accuracy Satellite Scanning Microwave Radiometer ocean parameters retrieval need brightness temperature of multiple channel from same area and identical resolution. Due to the limitation of spaceborne radiometer antenna design and feedhorn arrangement, each channel has different resolution and observation position, this will increase the ocean parameter retrieval error. Based on the HY-2 Scanning microwave radiometer antenna pattern and imaging geometry, we simulate the ground footprint form different channel, use Backu-Gilbert(BG) algorithm produce a single composite sample at a particular location and with a particular spatial weighting pattern from combination of the adjacent measurements, the low frequency 6.6GHz is set as the reference channel. The result showed that the matching with resolution decreasing could simulate the real instrument observation without introducing noise.
