Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 6,   Pages 809-962 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1900736

Abstract: In this study, we focus on the of in linear and nonlinear cases with multiple in control. For the linear system based on the Mittag-Leffler matrix function, we define a , which is useful in judging whether the system is controllable or not. Furthermore, in two special cases, we present serval equivalent controllable conditions which are easy to verify. For the nonlinear system, under the of its corresponding linear system, we obtain a sufficient condition on the nonlinear term to ensure that the system is controllable. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the theory.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 6,   Pages 566-575 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500358

Abstract: We investigate the identification problems of a class of linear stochastic time-delay systems with unknown delayed states in this study. A time-delay system is expressed as a delay differential equation with a single delay in the state vector. We first derive an equivalent linear time-invariant (LTI) system for the time-delay system using a state augmentation technique. Then a conventional subspace identification method is used to estimate augmented system matrices and Kalman state sequences up to a similarity transformation. To obtain a state-space model for the time-delay system, an alternate convex search (ACS) algorithm is presented to find a similarity transformation that takes the identified augmented system back to a form so that the time-delay system can be recovered. Finally, we reconstruct the Kalman state sequences based on the similarity transformation. The time-delay system matrices under the same state-space basis can be recovered from the Kalman state sequences and input-output data by solving two least squares problems. Numerical examples are to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Operation safety risk analysis method of hydropower project considering time-dependent effect

Zhang Sherong,YanLei

Strategic Study of CAE 2011, Volume 13, Issue 12,   Pages 51-55

Abstract:

In order to consider the time-dependent characteristic of risk factors of hydropower project, the method of stochastic process simulating structure resistance and load effect is adopted. On the basis of analyzing the structure characteristics and mode of operation, the operation safety risk rate assessment model of hydropower project is established on the comprehensive application of the improved analytic hierarchy process, the time-dependent reliability theory and the risk rate threshold. A scheme to demonstrate the time-dependent risk rate assessment method for an example of the earth-rock dam is particularly implemented by the proposed approach. The example shows that operation safety risk rate is closely related to both the service period and design standard; considering the effect of time-dependent, the risk rate increases with time and the intersection of them reflects the technical service life of structures. It could provide scientific basis for the operation safety and risk decision of the hydropower project by predicting the trend of risk rate via this model.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 1,   Pages 1-140 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000160

Abstract: In this study, we present the convergence of . Then, we apply the convergence property to cooperative control of nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with (UCDs), and illustrate a new kind of based control algorithms. It is proven that if the are cut-balance, the convergence of nonlinear MASs with nonidentical UCDs is achieved using the presented algorithms. A critical feature of this application is that the designed algorithms can deal with nonidentical UCDs by employing conventional s. Finally, one simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented algorithms.

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 3,   Pages 108-112

Abstract:

In order to effectively evaluate existed bridges' reliability, the effect of bridge service time on bridge reliability was considered. To extend the so-called semi-stochastic process model for specified in the design code in analysis reliability for existing structure, assuming that the structural resistances and the action effects are independent, based on the characteristics of the resistance and action effects variation with time, considering the resistance is an independent increment process and calculating the self-revelation coefficient of resistance, an approximate algorithm of failure probability was developed. And a fully stochastic process model was developed to analysis time-dependent reliability. Through the example, this method is simple and convenient and can supply a basis for structural assessment and service life prediction.

Strategic Study of CAE 2001, Volume 3, Issue 11,   Pages 54-59

Abstract:

A new estimation method based on modified performance index is proposed for time-varying process to avoid the ill-condition of least squares method. Based on the new method,a series of new recursive algorithms such as the new recursive least squares algorithm, the instrumental variable algorithm are constructed. The new identification method can ease the ill-condition and improve the identification accuracy without using the additional signals. Moreover, without additional computation,it is suitable for engineering practice very much. Both simulation results and practical operation show the new identification algorithm is effective. In this paper, the justification of this modified algorithm is proved.

Branislav Rehák, Volodymyr Lynnyk,rehakb@utia.cas.cz,volodymyr.lynnyk@utia.cas.cz

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 1,   Pages 1-140 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000207

Abstract: An algorithm is presented for leader-following synchronization of a composed of linear agents with . The presence of different delays in various agents can cause a synchronization error that does not converge to zero. However, the norm of this error can be bounded and this boundary is presented. The proof of the main results is formulated by means of linear matrix inequalities, and the size of this problem is independent of the number of agents. Results are illustrated through examples, highlighting the fact that the steady error is caused by heterogeneous delays and demonstrating the capability of the proposed algorithm to achieve synchronization up to a certain error.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2018, Volume 19, Issue 12,   Pages 1546-1557 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800519

Abstract:

The current boom in the Internet of Things (IoT) is changing daily life in many ways, from wearable devices to connected vehicles and smart cities. We used to regard fog computing as an extension of cloud computing, but it is now becoming an ideal solution to transmit and process large-scale geo-distributed big data. We propose a Byzantine fault-tolerant networking method and two resource allocation strategies for IoT fog computing. We aim to build a secure fog network, called “SIoTFog,” to tolerate the Byzantine faults and improve the efficiency of transmitting and processing IoT big data. We consider two cases, with a single Byzantine fault and with multiple faults, to compare the performances when facing different degrees of risk. We choose latency, number of forwarding hops in the transmission, and device use rates as the metrics. The simulation results show that our methods help achieve an efficient and reliable fog network.

Abstract:

On the basis of design load in force, the revised factors of variable load used in estimating existing bridge structures are given according to the theory, which is the probability that the load used exceeds the reservice term should be equal to the probability that the load used in design exceeds the service term. The theory of time-dependent ability is adopted to evaluate the residual service life of structure and a method is adopted to revise the variable load.

Abstract: In this paper, the problem of of (BCNs) with multiple s in both states and controls is investigated. First, the problem of BCNs with multiple s in controls is considered. For this problem, a matrix is constructed by defining a new product of matrices, based on which a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained. Then, the of BCNs with multiple s in states is studied by giving a necessary and sufficient condition. Subsequently, based on these results, a matrix for BCNs with multiple s in both states and controls is proposed that provides a concise condition. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the main results.

Abstract: In this study, the complete synchronization problem of coupled delayed Boolean networks (CDBNs) is investigated. The state delays and output delays may not be equal, and the state delay in each Boolean network may be different in the proposed CDBN model. Based on the semi-tensor product of matrices, a necessary and sufficient condition for the complete synchronization of CDBNs is obtained. Then, an efficient algorithm for solving the synchronization of CDBNs is provided. Finally, numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm.

Ya-ting ZHENG, Jun-e FENG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 2,   Pages 316-323 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1900376

Abstract: In this study, the output tracking of delayed logical control networks (DLCNs) with state and control constraints is further investigated. Compared with other delays, state-dependent delay updates its value depending on the current state values and a pseudo-logical function. Multiple constraints mean that state values are constrained in a nonempty set and the design of the controller is conditioned. Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, dynamical equations of DLCNs are converted into an algebraic description, and an equivalent augmented system is constructed. Based on the augmented system, the output tracking problem is transformed into a set stabilization problem. A deformation of the state transition matrix is computed, and a necessary and sufficient condition is derived for the output tracking of a DLCN with multi-constraint. This condition is easily verified by mathematical software. In addition, the admissible state-feedback controller is designed to enable the outputs of the DLCN to track the reference signal. Finally, theoretical results are illustrated by an example.
