Frontiers of Medicine 2017, Volume 11, Issue 2,   Pages 214-222 doi: 10.1007/s11684-017-0518-7

Abstract: Dysfunctional miR-9 expression remains ambiguous, and no consensus on the metastatic progression of ovarianLuciferase reporter assay results confirmed that miR-9 could directly target this 3′-UTR. miR-9Upregulation of miR-9 could downregulate the expression of E-cadherin but upregulate the expression ofcould be effectively inhibited via miR-9 inhibitor. Thus, our study demonstrates that miR-9 may promote ovarian cancer metastasis via targeting E-cadherin

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2015, Volume 2, Issue 4,   Pages 311-317 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2015075

Abstract: Previous studies indicated that miR-29c is important for muscle development in mice and human, but itsIn this study, we detected the expression of miR-29c in Meishan longissimus lumborum (LL) muscle. The results showed that miR-29c was gradually upregulated during development of skeletal muscle in pigMoreover, the expression of and genes, which were confirmed to be targeted by miR-29c in mice, wasAlso, the luciferase assay indicated that miR-29s can target the gene in pigs.

Frontiers of Medicine 2020, Volume 14, Issue 1,   Pages 91-100 doi: 10.1007/s11684-019-0696-6

Abstract: AcK27-HOXB9 is a newly identified HOXB9 post-transcriptional modification that can predict the outcomeHOXB9 was upregulated ( <0.0001), and AcK27-HOXB9 ( =0.0023) was downregulated in patients with PDAC.HOXB9 promoted ( =0.0115), while AcK27-HOXB9 ( =0.0279) inhibited PDAC progression. The results of this study showed that HOXB9 promoted and AcK27-HOXB9 suppressed PDAC progression. The determination of ratio between HOXB9 and AcK27-HOXB9 exhibited potential diagnostic value in patients

Frontiers of Medicine 2014, Volume 8, Issue 4,   Pages 456-463 doi: 10.1007/s11684-014-0353-z

Abstract: In this study, Du145 cells were transfected with miR-200c mimics or negative control miR-NC by usingThe relative expression of miR-200c was measured by RT-PCR.Du145 cells were then transfected with miR-200c mimics and displayed lower abilities of proliferationHence, miR-200c could significantly inhibit the proliferation of the prostate cancer cell line Du145;likewise, miR-200c could inhibit migration and invasion by epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

Abstract:

We performed Real-time PCR to detect the hsa-miR-197 expression levelsmiRbase,UCSC,NCBI are employed to analysis the sequence conservation and genetic characteristics of hsa- miR- 197;miRNA databases such as miRanda,MirTarget2 and TargetScan are chosen to predict hsa- miR- 197 targetchosen, and GO and Pathway analysis of these genes are carried out to explore the potential role of hsa-miR-197 playing in regulating the uterine leiomyomas occurrence and development. hsa-miR-197 functions in

662 A/G gene variation in human tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 9 (TNFRSF9)

QU Yanchun, YANG Ze, SUN Liang, JI Linong

Frontiers of Medicine 2008, Volume 2, Issue 3,   Pages 283-285 doi: 10.1007/s11684-008-0053-7

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to report a new coding variance of the gene, a candidate for autoimmune diseases. We found the variation in two families with type 2 diabetes mellitus by D-HPLC mutation screening method and confirmed our results by direct sequencing and PCR-RFLP. Although without changing the amino acid coding, the variance may have an effect on codon usage and play a role in disease development, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus. However, we cannot define the role of this variance because the frequency of the minor allele is low in the Chinese population and no homozygote of the variance was found. More research in multiple populations will be necessary to define the role of this variance.
