Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 6,   Pages 862-876 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000085

Abstract: We propose a novel circuit for the fractional-order memristive neural synaptic weighting (FMNSW). The introduced circuit is different from the majority of the previous integer-order approaches and offers important advantages. Since the concept of memristor has been generalized from the classic integer-order memristor to the (), a challenging theoretical problem would be whether the can be employed to implement the or not. In this research, characteristics of the FMNSW, realized by a pulse-based bridge circuit, are investigated. First, the circuit configuration of the FMNSW is explained using a pulse-based bridge circuit. Second, the mathematical proof of the fractional-order learning capability of the FMNSW is analyzed. Finally, experimental work and analyses of the electrical characteristics of the FMNSW are presented. Strong ability of the FMNSW in explaining the cellular mechanisms that underlie learning and memory, which is superior to the traditional integer-order memristive neural synaptic weighting, is considered a major advantage for the proposed circuit.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2019, Volume 20, Issue 12,   Pages 1706-1716 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1900360

Abstract: A four-dimensional memristive system is constructed using a novel ideal memristor with cosine memductance. Due to the special memductance nonlinearity, this memristive system has a line equilibrium set (0, 0, 0, δ) located along the coordinate of the inner state variable of the memristor, whose stability is periodically varied with a change of δ. Nonlinear and one-dimensional initial offset boosting behaviors, which are triggered by not only the initial condition of the memristor but also other two initial conditions, are numerically uncovered. Specifically, a wide variety of coexisting attractors with different positions and topological structures are revealed along the boosting route. Finally, circuit simulations are performed by Power SIMulation (PSIM) to confirm the unique dynamical features.

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 3,   Pages 4-14

Abstract:

To make a study on the anti-sliding stablity of foundation of hydraulic structures on subbed soils, and based on the result by anti-sliding tests of dragged concreting clip plates in foundation pits, the anti-sliding stablity of foundation on subbed soils was determind. There are 3 different forms of largest displacement with 8 different forms of silding move of subbed soils caused by the different maximum compressive stresses of eccentric loads on them. It is worked out a design method to determine the sliding frictional resistances and the forms of sliding moves of foundation subbed soils; a formula for the integal frication resistance to sliding for the structure;a formula for the the anti-sliding move of subbed soils and a rule to distinguish the plane sliding move of foundation subsoils with others. To analyze 3 structures which have been established provides a confirmation with the reality for the design method.

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 12,   Pages 81-85

Abstract:

A novel endtoend data transmission scheme based on OFDM mechanism with good robustness against the RPE-LTP vocoder in GSM voice channel is proposed. According to the character of RPE-LTP vocoder, data are modulated to orthogonal lowfrequency sinusoidal carrier. In OFDM, the modulation is done by IFFT and the modulated signals are conformed to the time and frequency characters of RPELTP vocoder. The results of simulation show that the transmission bit rate of the proposed scheme reaches 2.4 kb/s,and the bit error rate of the scheme is lower than 0.3 %. This scheme provides a new approach for realtime secure voice data transmission over GSM system.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 11,   Pages 1517-1531 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000622

Abstract: has seized scientists’ attention due to its rich diversity of dynamical behaviors and great flexibility in engineering applications. In this paper, a four-dimensional (4D) is built using four linear circuit elements and one nonlinear charge-controlled memcapacitor with a cosine inverse memcapacitance. The 4D possesses a line equilibrium set, and its stability periodically evolves with the initial condition of the memcapacitor. The 4D exhibits due to the periodically evolving stability. Complex dynamical behaviors of period doubling/halving bifurcations, chaos crisis, and initial-condition-switched coexisting attractors are revealed by bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponents, and phase portraits. Thereafter, a reconstructed system is derived via integral transformation to reveal the forming mechanism of the in the . Finally, an implementation circuit is designed for the reconstructed system, and Power SIMulation (PSIM) simulations are executed to confirm the validity of the numerical analysis.

Wang Biao,Wang Yudong,Zhang Zihua,He Xiaokui,Zhu Xiaoli

Strategic Study of CAE 2001, Volume 3, Issue 8,   Pages 82-86

Abstract:

A typical cavitation erosion resisting sample, the weld deposited coationg of boronic stainless steel, and a typical erosion and abrasion resisting sample, the weld deposited coating of WC ceramic are micro-analyzed and studied by means of light microscope, scanning electron microscope(SEM) ,electon probe and X-rays diffraction. The obtained results indicate that the weld deposited coating of boronic stainless steel has better resistance to cavitation eroion, while weld deposited coating of WC ceramics is a better barrier to erosion and abrasion. Forthermore, the material failure from erosion and abrasion is resulted from the combining actions of the minus pressure because of bubble crumbling and the tangential componental force caused by the dashing of silt granular.

Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 7,   Pages 17-23

Abstract:

The structure, reproduction, replication and transcription of RNA viruses were introduced. Antivirus strategies including design of anti - SARS drugs, RNA interference, DNA vaccine delivery system, modulation of interaction of envelop glycoprotein with glycosanminoglycan derivatives or analogues, natural herbal medicine and alveolus tissue engineering were reviewed. These examples imply the interactions of RNA viruses with proteins, DNA, and polysaccharides. Nowadays biomaterials matrixes or vectors are developing toward the third generation, i.e. cell or/and activated ones. It is sure that biomaterials will play a crucial role in fighting against SARS viruses and the like.

Immune Regulatory Cell Biology and Clinical Applications to Prevent or Treat Acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease Review

Bruce R. Blazar

Engineering 2019, Volume 5, Issue 1,   Pages 98-105 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2018.11.016

Abstract:

The most common approaches to prevent and treat graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) are intended to deplete or suppress the T cells capable of mediating or supporting alloresponses; however, this renders the recipients functionally T cell deficient and hence highly susceptible to infections and tumor recurrence. Depletion is often accomplished through the use of broadly reactive antibodies, while functional impairment is typically achieved by pharmacological agents that require long-term administration (usually six months or more), have significant side effects, and may not result in tolerance (i.e., nonresponsiveness) of donor T cells to conditioning regimen-resistant host alloantigen-bearing cells. As our knowledge of immune system homeostasis has increased, cell populations with immune regulatory function have been identified and characterized. Although such cell populations are typically present in low frequencies, methods to isolate and expand these cells have permitted their supplementation to the donor graft or infusion late post-transplant in order to stifle GVHD. This review discusses the biology and preclinical proof of concept of GVHD models, along with GVHD outcomes that focus exclusively on immune regulatory cell therapies that have progressed to clinical testing.

Discussion on formula for anti pull bearing capacity of DX pile

Yuan Xiyu,He Dexin,Chen Lihong

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 1,   Pages 69-73

Abstract:

When the DX-pile is under uplift load, the pile-soil interaction consists of pile shaft resistance and uplift resistance provided by the bells which effectively raises the uplift-pile ultimate bearing capacity. The friction resistance along pile shaft friction has been study well and has lots of results, but the problem of calculating the resistance of bell is still under studied which is the key to DX-pile uplift capacity. This paper calculates the bearing capacity of DX-pile and compares it with the measured value on the basis of a project to discuss and study these calculation methods, and a new method of calculation is also proposed.
