Development of new transient liquid phase system Au-Sn-Au for microsystem technology

摘要: In the last decade, microsystems evolved to decisive technology in many technical applications. With increasing requirements on the performance of microsystems, more and more dissimilar materials are used in the same assembly. Correspondingly, suitable joining methods are required to fulfil the requirements on good properties of joints. In this study, a new transient liquid phase (TLP) system Au-Sn-Au was developed for potential medical applications in hybrid microsystems. The high and low melting phases Au and Sn were deposited onto diverse substrates by magnetron-sputter-ion plating. The coated substrates were soldered in a microsoldering station under different conditions. The influence of soldering conditions on the microstructure and properties of the joints was investigated. Results show that the developed solder led to high-quality joints that can be used in microsystems for medical applications.

摘要: A strategy of intensifying the visible light harvesting ability of anatase TiO hollow spheres (HSs) was developed, in which both sides of TiO HSs were utilised for stabilising Au nanoparticles (NPs) through the sacrificial templating method and convex surface-induced confinement. The composite structure of single Au NP yolk-TiO shell-Au NPs, denoted as Au@Au(TiO , was rendered and confirmed by the transmission electron microscopy analysis. Au@Au(TiO showed enhanced photocatalytic activity in the degradation of methylene blue and phenol in aqueous phase under visible light surpassing that of other reference materials such as Au(TiO by 77% and Au@P25 by 52%, respectively, in phenol degradation.

A mini review on chemical fixation of CO 2 : Absorption and catalytic conversion into cyclic carbonates

摘要: In this article, we present our research results on chemical fixation of CO using organobismuth compounds. We fabricated bismuth biphenoate complex, Zn-Mg-Al composite oxides, and SBA-15 or Al-SBA-15 immobilized hydroxyl ionic liquid for CO cycloaddition onto epoxides. The hypervalent bismuth compounds show good ability for association and dissociation with CO. The bismuth biphenolate complexes are catalytically effective for the cycloaddition reaction. The heterogeneous catalysts, viz. Zn-Mg-Al oxides and SBA-15 or Al-SBA-15 immobilized ionic liquid, are efficient for the synthesis of cyclic carbonate from CO and epoxide. It is found that the presence of a trace amount of water can improve the catalytic activity of the immobilized ionic liquid.

Particle size distribution and shape control of Au nanoparticles used for particle gun

摘要: Au nanoparticles are expected for the media to transfer genes into plants. However, the control of particle size distribution (PSD) and shape of Au nanoparticles is too difficult to design and prepare particles with suitable quality for the gene supporting media. Reduction crystallization experiments were performed in aqueous solution in order to clarify the effect of feeding conditions such as feeding profile, feeding rate, and feeding amount on PSD and shape of Au nanoparticles. Ascorbic acid (AsA) was selected as a reducing agent because it is safe for plants. Au particles of 50 nm, 50–200 nm, and 150–400 nm were obtained in batch operation, single-jet, and double-jet, respectively. Moreover, in single-jet and double-jet, the mean size of the obtained Au particles increases with the decrease of feeding rate or the increase of feeding amount. It is concluded that PSD of Au nanoparticles can be controlled in the range of 50–400 nm by changing feeding conditions of AsA and HAuCl aqueous solution.

Low-temperature CO oxidation over Au-doped 13X-type zeolite catalysts: preparation and catalytic activity

摘要: Au-supported 13X-type zeolite (Au/13X) was synthesized using a common deposition–precipitation (DP) method with a solution of sodium carbonate as a precipitate agent. Further testing was conducted to test for catalytic oxidation of CO. A study was conducted on the effects of different preparation conditions (i.e., chloroauric acid concentration, solution temperature, pH of solution, and calcinations temperature) on Au/13X for CO oxidation. In respect to the catalytic activity, the relationship between different the preparation conditions and gold particles in 13X zeolite was analyzed using X-ray diffraction, TEM and XPS. The activity of Au/13X catalysts in CO oxidation was dependent on the chloroauric acid concentration. From XRD results, a higher chloroauric acid concentration induced larger gold nanoparticles, which resulted in lower catalytic activity. Results revealed that higher temperatures induced higher Au loading, homogeneous deposit, and smaller gold clusters on the support of 13X, resulting in higher CO activity. Furthermore, a pH of 5 or 6 generated greater amounts of Au loading and smaller Au particles on 13X than at a pH of 8 or 9. This may be a result of an effective exchange between and Au(OH) Cl on specific surface sites of zeolite under the pH’s 5 and 6. The sample calcined at 300°C showed the highest activity, which may be due to the sample’s calcined at 200°C inability to decompose completely to metallic gold while the sample calcined at 400°C had larger particles of gold deposited on the support. It can be concluded from this study that Au/13X prepared from a gold solution with an initial chloroauric acid solution concentration of 1.5 × 10 mol·L gold solution pH of 6, solution temperature of around 90°C, and a calcination temperature of 300°C provides optimum catalytic activity for CO oxidation.

自1998年以来,人们广泛认为Au/Ti基催化剂的Au-O-Ti4+位点是在相对高温条件下丙烯气相环氧化反应的活性位点,但该类催化剂的H2有效利用率普遍较低本工作发现了一种在相对低温条件下丙烯气相环氧化反应的新活性位点Au-O-Ti3+。本工作通过调整处理后S-1晶种中Si-OH和Bu3NH+的量,定量构建了Au-O-Ti3+活性位点。并且利用原位紫外-可见光谱(operando UV-vis)技术研究了Ti-OOH反应中间体的动态演化过程,结果表明,在Au-O-Ti3+活性位点上的Ti-OOH的生成速率比在Au-O-TiTi3+位点促进了Au和Ti3+之间的电子转移,从而增强了催化剂对O2的吸附能力,有效促进H2O2

A perspective on the promoting effect of Ir and Au on Pd toward the ethanol oxidation reaction in alkaline

摘要: There remain great challenges in developing highly efficient electrocatalysts with both high activity and good stability for the ethanol oxidation reaction in alkaline media. Herein, two architectures of tri-metallic PdIrAu/C electrocatalysts are designed and the promoting effect of Au and Ir on Pd toward the ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR) in alkaline media is investigated in detail. On the one hand, the tri-metallic Pd Au Ir/C electrocatalyst with a solid solution alloy architecture is less active relative to Pd Ir/C and Pd/C while the stabilizing effect of Au leads to both a higher activity and a lower degradation percentage after 3000 cycles of the accelerated degradation test (ADT) on Pd Au Ir/C than those on Pd Ir/C. On the other hand, the tri-metallic Pd Ir@(1/3Au)/C electrocatalyst with a near surface alloy architecture delivers a much higher activity with an improvement up to 50.4% compared to Pd Ir/C. It is speculated that for the tri-metallic Pd Ir@(1/3Au)/C electrocatalyst, certain Au atoms are well designed on surfaces to introduce an electronic modification, thus leading to an anti-poisoning effect and improving the EOR activity.

The electrostatic-alloy bonding technique used in MEMS

摘要: Electrostatic-alloy bonding of silicon wafer with glass deposited by Au to form Si/Au-glass water, and bonding of Si/Au-glass with silicon wafer were researched during fabrication of pressure sensors. The silicon wafer and glass wafer with an Au film resistor were bonded by electrostatic bonding, and then Si-Au alloy bonding was formed by annealing at 400vH for 2 h. The air sealability of the cavity after bonding was finally tested using the N filling method. The results indicate that large bond strength was obtained at the bonding interface. This process was used in fabricating a pressure sensor with a sandwich structure. The results indicate that the sensor presented better performances and that the bonding techniques can be used in MEMS packaging.

Epigenetic dysregulation in hepatocellular carcinoma: focus on polycomb group proteins

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development is characterized by the presence of epigenetic alterations, including promoter DNA hypermethylation and post-translational modifications of histone, which profoundly affect expression of a wide repertoire of genes critical for cancer development. Emerging data suggest that deregulation of polycomb group (PcG) proteins, which are key chromatin modifiers repressing gene transcription during developmental stage, plays a causative role in oncogenesis. PcG proteins assemble into polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1) and polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) to impose the histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation (H3K27me3) modification for repression. In this review, we will first recapitulate the mechanisms of two key epigenetic pathways: DNA methylation and histone modifications. Specifically, we will focus our discussion on the molecular roles of PcG proteins. Next, we will highlight recent findings on PcG proteins, their clinicopathological implication and their downstream molecular consequence in hepatocarcinogenesis. Last but not least, we will consider the therapeutic potential of targeting enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) as a possible treatment for HCC. Improving our understanding on the roles of PcG proteins in hepatocarcinogenesis can benefit the development of epigenetic-based therapy.

Cationic organobismuth complex as an effective catalyst for conversion of CO

摘要: In order to achieve high-efficiency conversion of CO into valuable chemicals, and to exploit new applications of organobismuth compounds, cationic organobismuth complex with 5,6,7,12-tetrahydrodibenz[c,f] azabismocine framework was examined for the first time for the coupling of CO into cyclic carbonates, using terminal epoxides as substrates and tetrabutylammonium halide as co-catalyst in a solvent-free environment under mild conditions. It is shown that the catalyst exhibited high activity and selectivity for the coupling reaction of CO with a wide range of terminal epoxide. The selectivity of propylene carbonates could reach 100%, and the maximum turnover frequency was up to 10740 h at 120°C and 3 MPa CO pressure when tetrabutylammonium iodide was used as co-catalyst. Moreover, the catalyst is environment friendly, resistant to air and water, and can be readily reused and recycled without any loss of activity, demonstrating a potential in industrial application.

摘要: 目的:随着空间技术和计算机技术的发展,空间飞行器协作控制越来越受到重视。多智能体编队控制是研究这一类问题的基础。本文研究了三种情况下单积分器多智能体系统基于线性二次最优性能指标的编队控制问题,并设计相应的控制算法保证多智能体系统在完成编队的基础上使所定义的性能指标达到最优。 创新点:针对三种不同的单积分器多智能体最优编队情况,分别提出相应的网络连接拓扑以及局部反馈矩阵;不同于其他论文不能给出网络拓扑以及局部最优反馈矩阵的具体解析解,本文给出相应的解析解,并且证明解析解与实际物理系统完全相符。 方法:应用代数图论以及矩阵理论的相关知识,针对无物理耦合的多智能体系统,通过求解代数里卡蒂方程,设计智能体之间的网络连接拓扑以及局部反馈矩阵,保证多智能体系统在完成编队的同时相应的LQR指标最优。针对有物理耦合的多智能体系统,同样通过求解代数里卡蒂方程,得到相应的网络连接拓扑以及局部反馈矩阵,保证多智能体系统在完成编队的基础上使相应的LQR指标最优;针对有物理耦合但无法设计网络拓扑的多智能体系统,将最优指标写成局部反馈增益的函数,通过求最优指标的导数,得到最优局部反馈增益。 结论:对于无物理耦合单积分器多智能体的编队问题与有物理耦合单积分器多智能体的编队问题,分别设计网络连接拓扑以及局部反馈矩阵,在多智能体系统完成编队的基础上保证相应的性能指标达到最优。对于有物理耦合但无法改变通讯网络拓扑的单积分器多智能体系统编队问题,设计最优局部反馈增益,在多智能体系统完成编队的同时保证性能指标最优。

摘要: 城市建模为生成城市不同场景下的虚拟环境提供了便利。城市建模需要专业知识和考虑,并消耗大量时间和计算资源。即便如此,与之相关的任务有时仍以不满意的结果甚至失败告终。这些挑战得到了计算机图形学领域学者的大量关注。同时,人工智能的蓬勃发展激励人们充分利用机器学习以改进现有解决方案。本文回顾了2010至2019年间发表的文献,对计算机图形领域中使用机器学习的城市建模方法进行综述。本文可作为机器学习视角下城市建模研究现状的概述。
