Shen Guangya and Zhang Ning

Strategic Study of CAE 2015, Volume 17, Issue 7,   Pages 123-122

Abstract:

The organization of manufacture’s company and logistics involves duality relationship due to the economics definition. The relationship depends on three critical factors: ① the scale economy on the division of manufacture product; ② the scale economy on the division of manufacture technology; ③ the transaction cost on the manufacture logistics. When the manufacture technology makes progress and the manufacture logistics owns the scale economy and network economy, the manufacture logistics can achieve rapidity, low cost, punctuality and reliability, so that it is able to support the development strategy of the manufacture power in China. This article is started with the analysis of production organization for manufacturers and classifies them into two ideal production organizations of manufacture product division and manufacture technology division. It formulates programming models to demonstrate the duality between the manufacture company and manufacture logistics.

Duan Jingmin,Chang Yuejun,Li Zanxiang,Cui Jianming

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 7,   Pages 109-112

Abstract:

Simulated annealing algorithm is a heuristic algorithm, proposed one approximation algorithm of solving optimization combinatorial problems inspired by objects in the annealing process by heating crunch. The algorithm is superior to the traditional greedy algorithm, which avoids falling into local optimum and reaches global optimum. There are often some problems to find the shortest path, etc., in the logistics and we distribution network, and we need optimization for logistics and distribution path in order to achieve the shortest, best, most economical, and so on. The paper uses an example of simulated annealing algorithm to verify it, and the method is proved to be feasible.

Zhou Lingyun and Wang Chao

Strategic Study of CAE 2015, Volume 17, Issue 3,   Pages 50-55

Abstract:

Global carbon dioxide emissions pressure gives a good development opportunity for hydrogen energy, and it also accelerates the development of hydrogen energy technology. The water decomposition is the main direction of hydrogen production technology, but it needs huge electricity energy consumption. In order to reduce the cost of hydrogen energy, the water decomposition should rely on other clean energy such as solar energy, wind energy. For the wind intermittent fluctuation and non-grid-connected features, the paper explores the development and utilization of rich wind energy resources in the Yellow Sea radial sand ridges, and proposes the hydrogen production technology based on non-grid-connected wind power. The application mode and ways of hydrogen energy in green traffic are analyzed for expanding the comprehensive development of wind power resources, hydrogen energy and green transportation.

Long Undersea Tunnels: Recognizing and Overcoming the Logistics of Operation and Construction Article

Gareth Mainwaring, Tor Ole Olsen

Engineering 2018, Volume 4, Issue 2,   Pages 249-253 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2018.03.004

Abstract:

Long undersea tunnels, and particularly those that are built for transportation purposes, are not commonplace infrastructure. Although their planning and construction take a considerable amount of time, they form important fixed links once in operation. The fact that these tunnels are located under the sea generally involves unique challenges including complex issues with construction and operations, which relate to the lack of intermediate access points along the final route of the tunnel. Similar issues are associated with long under-land tunnels, such as those under mountain ranges such as the Alps. This paper identifies the key issues related to the design and construction of such tunnels, and suggests a potential solution using proven technology from another engineering discipline.

A Multi-Layer Collaboration Framework for Industrial Parks with 5G Vehicle-to-Everything Networks Article

Yanjun Shi, Qiaomei Han, Weiming Shen , Xianbin Wang

Engineering 2021, Volume 7, Issue 6,   Pages 818-831 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2020.12.021

Abstract:

The fifth-generation (5G) wireless communication networks are expected to play an essential role in the transformation of vertical industries. Among many exciting applications to be enabled by 5G, logistics tasks in industry parks can be performed more efficiently via vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. In this paper, a multi-layer collaboration framework enabled by V2X is proposed for logistics management in industrial parks. The proposed framework includes three layers: a perception and execution layer, a logistics layer, and a configuration layer. In addition to the collaboration among these three layers, this study addresses the collaboration among devices, edge servers, and cloud services. For effective logistics in industrial parks, task collaboration is achieved through four functions: environmental perception and map construction, task allocation, path planning, and vehicle movement. To dynamically coordinate these functions, device–edge–cloud collaboration, which is supported by 5G slices and V2X communication technology, is applied. Then, the analytical target cascading method is adopted to configure and evaluate the collaboration schemes of industrial parks. Finally, a logistics analytical case study in industrial parks is employed to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed collaboration framework.
